Ken Ferris

Attorney Ferris has been a member of the expert legal team at Hashim and Spinola since 1992, starting as a summer intern while in law school in 1989. He was born and raised in Pittsfield and was happy to get the opportunity to practice law in Berkshire County after graduating from Suffolk University School of Law. 

Attorney Ferris has been involved in the general practice of law which has enabled him to build relationships with clients and assist them throughout their lives such as the purchase of a home, drafting a will, or guiding them through a traumatic event such as a divorce or car accident. He appears in Massachusetts regularly including the Massachusetts Superior, District, Probate & Family, Land and Housing Courts. He appears before local town and city boards on zoning matters and alcohol/entertainment licenses.

Attorney Ferris currently leads the Conciliation Program at Berkshire Probate & Family Court, the purpose of which is to assist parties and their attorneys to resolve issues on their own. He participates in the Lawyer of the Day Programs for the Berkshire Probate & Family Court and Western Division of the Housing Court, the purpose of which is to assist pro se litigants with the presentation of their claims. Recently, his services have been expanded to include mediation of divorces and family law matters, helping many people reach an agreement and avoid the cost of litigation.
