Attorney Hashim is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A., Cum Laude , 1972) and of Suffolk University Law School (Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude , 1975). He is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), and the Berkshire Bar Association. Michael has appeared and tried cases in all courts of the Commonwealth, including the U.S. District Court, the Superior Courts, and District Courts, in Berkshire County and other counties.

Cynthia A. Spinola


Concentrates in: Representation of people who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries such as spinal injuries, paralysis, disfigurement, brain injury, and death. These cases typically arise out of medical and nursing home negligence; tractor trailer and automobile collisions; unsafe construction and other work site practices; and maintenance of defective premises. These matters involve litigation and jury trials in all courts of the Commonwealth as well as claims for Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability.

Attorney Spinola is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.) and the University of San Francisco School of Law (Juris Doctorate, 1977). She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), and the Berkshire Bar Association. Attorney Spinola has appeared and tried cases in all courts of the Commonwealth, including the U.S. District Court, Superior Court of Massachusetts, District Courts, the Department of Industrial Accidents, and the Social Security Administration.

Kenneth P. Ferris

Concentrates in: Representation of businesses, including business formation; purchase and sale of businesses; personal injury, primarily for plaintiffs; workers compensation; real estate purchases, sales and refinancing; probate of estates; divorce, custody and support matters; collections; bankruptcy, primarily for creditors; Social Security disability claims; business litigation, and other litigation.

Attorney Ferris is a graduate of Tufts University (B.A., cum laude, 1987) and of Suffolk University Law School (Juris Doctorate, cum laude, 1990). He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and the Berkshire Bar Association. Kenneth has appeared and tried cases in all courts of the Commonwealth, including the U.S. District, the Superior Courts and District Courts in Berkshire County and other counties, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Massachusetts, as well as before Boards and other administrative agencies, including the Department of Industrial Accidents, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and Social Security Administration.

Dorothy Mara


Concentrates in: Estate planning; asset protection planning; Probate; Guardianship; Conservatorship; and elder law. Preparation of Wills, Trusts and complex estate plan documents, non-profit corporations.

Attorney Mara is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Business School (B.S. in Economics 1982, and the University of Illinois, College of Law (Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, 1986). She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and the Berkshire Bar Association. In addition to being a member of the Bar in Massachusetts, she is also admitted in New York and Maryland (inactive). She has appeared in all courts of the commonwealth including Superior Courts, Districts Courts, and the Probate and Family Courts.
